We value your car based on the information you provide us with.
If the information submitted via the website does not match the condition of the vehicle when you bring it in for inspection the price may vary to what was quoted originally.
Why do you need my email address and telephone number?
We need your email address so that we can send your car valuation, once it has been calculated. We ask for your telephone number so that we can get in touch if we have any queries about your car.We fully adhere to the 1998 Data Protection Act and will not disclose any of your personal details to any other third party.
How will you pay me?
We use the most secure method possible electronic bank transfer. We will arrange payment direct to your bank account which takes 3 to 4 working days typically, but depending on whom you bank with may be credited to your bank account on the same day.
I have not fully paid for my car. Can I still sell it?
If you have outstanding finance on your car we may settle the outstanding finance as part of the transaction. Depending on who the finance company is,you may have to obtain your settlement in writing on our behalf. If you wish to settle your existing finance, we will need written confirmation of payment from your finance company prior to collection. If you owe more on your finance than the sale price of the car, you will need to pay us the balance prior to us collecting your car.
When I bring the car for inspection what do I need to bring with me ?
When you bring the car for inspection you will need the car keys, the V5 Vehicle Registration document (often referred to as the log book), the last or current MOT certificate and any documents relating to the service history of the car.
What if I do not have a V5 registration document?
In order for us to buy your car we do need your original V5 document.
If you do not have one you can obtain a new document by filling in form V62 which you can download from DVLA and typically takes around 3 - 4 weeks to be issued from the date of application.
